Art is inspired by many different experiences.  Sometimes it's the movies we watch, the nature around us, or our own life experiences.   My father was in the navy and we lived on the coast. Last year I heard about a new art medium, Alcohol Inks.  This new (to me) type of paint intrigued me due to the vibrant colors, ease of application, and the weight of the paper that this medium requires.  I had seen another artist's work at an art show that I thought was vibrant watercolor.  When I spoke to the artist, she told me it was alcohol inks.  I immediately began my research.   Through my early research, I found that alcohol inks are an acid-free, highly-pigmented, and fast drying medium to be used on non-porous surfaces.   By mixing inks and colors,...

One of the best perks of this career is being able to meet so many different types of people.  This past Thursday we had the pleasure of meeting Tanner, the owner of Landrop Gaming.  Landrop Gaming is a brand new comic and gaming store in Willimantic, CT. Hey y'all!   It's been such a crazy time of year for us.  If you have ever worked retail, you know part of the crazy is dealing with the influx of orders, and making customers happy.  We love to do that, so that's the easy part.
